Discounts and free offers
InterRail offers more than just free train travel. You will also be able to use free or heavily discounted ferries in many countries! The Eurostar train is also discounted for InterRail travelers.
InterRail Global Pass holders and travelers with an InterRail One Country Pass are entitled to a variety of discounts and free offers in the country where your Pass is valid. You can obtain these at local ticket offices or by contacting the company that offers the discount, like the local ferry office. Always double check on your ticket that you have been given the right discount.

There are no extra benefits (yet) in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, FYR Macedonia, Luxembourg, Montenegro, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Turkey.
How to use benefits with a flexible Pass
When travelling on a 5 or 10-day flexible InterRail Pass, please note that if the benefit entails free transportation, it requires the use of one of your travel days. In case of a free overnight ferry, you may enter either the day of departure or arrival in the Travel Calendar.
If the benefit only entails a discount in price, this does not require use of a travel day. Therefore, you can travel using the discount - even if all your travel days have been used up - provided it takes place within the overall validity period of your Pass.
Companies and organizations that are interested to offer a discount to InterRail travellers, for example on hotels / hostels, boat trips, museums / attractions, are invited to contact the Eurail Group.
