Great Britain
Since 1995, Great Britain's rail network has been run by over twenty different private companies. The government makes sure they work together as 'National Rail', with coordinated passenger information, fares & ticketing.

Britain's train network criss-crosses the land with services to even small towns and villages and there are almost 20,000 train services on a typical weekday.
